Danske Bank, WeWork Labs and RISE collaborate on +impact accelerator

Danske Bank Growth & Impact has just opened applications for team 3 on their + impact accelerator. Now they are looking for 10 impact startups from the Nordic countries with a focus on circular business

The Nordic region holds great promise in leading societal change and helping to reach UN’s Sustainable Development Goals. Impact start-ups represent an important part in driving this change. They are creative and courageous companies driven by a determination to lead the way to sustainable business practices.  Combining impact and profit, for these start-ups is not a question of “if”, but a “must have”

Danske Bank Growth & Impact want to help realise this potential by enabling such start-ups be sustainable and scalable and by such propelling these change-makers – and make impact mainstream for start-ups in the Nordic region.

Danske Bank Growth & Impact support these aspirations by building an accelerator in partnership with actors bringing unique expertise from various sectors.

For the 3rd cohort of +impact accelerator, focusing on circular businesses, Danske Bank Growth & Impact have teamed up with WeWork Labs and RISE.

Up to date nineteen startups, from four different countries have gone through the program in Copenhagen, designed by Katapult, who is also involved in this cohort as an operational partner. By bringing these players together, Danske Bank Growth & Impact combine global outlook, local expertise and power of research.

This fall,  +impact accelerator will take place in Stockholm, starting October 21st

To ensure that all startups get the chance to participate at no-expense to the founders, Danske Bank is providing each selected company with a grant of 28000 SEK, to cover relocation.
