“Jest is the testing framework developed and used by Facebook to test all JavaScript code, including but not limited to, React applications.We’ll take a look into what features Jest brings to the table and also dig into the fundamentals about what unit tests are and why it might be a good idea to write them.Bring your computer along and we’ll explore these topics together. We’ll start the evening with a short presentation about the background and features of Jest. After that we will make sure that everybody gets the environment up and running.The goal is that everybody will at the very least have written one test in jest before we go home.”
