Michael Mathiesen aims to create a publicly traded impact fund

A Nordic public share in a venture capital company that invests in Africa - the notion sounds too big to hold water. The man behind the ambitious idea has had seven publicly-traded companies, including 2M Invest, which in its heyday had more than 20,000 shareholders. Michael Mathiesen wants to use the same model to make a difference in Africa.

Although he had promised himself that he was done with everything that resembled venture capital, Michael Mathiesen is at it again.
