Usually, collaboration between startups and corporate companies are mutually beneficial. In Denmark, however, corporate companies tend to squash the entrepreneurial spirit early on in the partnership, says Leo Innovation Lab’s Kristian Hart.

It is widely agreed that collaboration between startups and corporate companies is beneficial for both parties. Set in motion by LEO Innovation Lab in 2016, the Danish pharmaceutical company LEO Pharma, founded in 1908, continuously invests and hands out grants to startups through the initiative LEO Ventures.
